A significant update for God of War Ragnarok has been released today for the PS5.

Throughout 2024, the latest installment in the God of War series has seen minimal attention from developer Santa Monica Studio. Aside from a few minor patches addressing issues with the Valhalla DLC, there has been little activity regarding the game. However, this has now changed, as Santa Monica Studio has introduced a major upgrade to Ragnarok.

Currently, update version 6.00 for God of War Ragnarok is available for download on PS5.

This patch notably enhances compatibility with the PS5 Pro, resulting in improved visuals without compromising performance. In addition to this enhancement for PS5 Pro users, Santa Monica Studio has also implemented a feature that allows players to decrease the frequency of hints provided by companions during puzzle-solving.

Notes Bug Fixes

– Resolved an issue where Brok would not navigate correctly to the shop in Freyr’s camp.

– Fixed a problem preventing the crafting of Hilts if the item was not created prior to a New Game Plus run.

– Special resources necessary for crafting Hilts can no longer be sold.

– Special resources required for crafting Hilts will reappear if the player accidentally sold the item. New Gameplay Options

– Reduced Puzzle Hints: This option decreases the hints provided by companions throughout the game, allowing for increased exploration and experimentation.
